"Rotary, An Expression of Who We Are"
Today January 8th, 2025 was our first meeting for the 2025 New Year! We welcomed Tamara Fennell, Rotary District Governor, to our first meeting of the year to inspire us for an amazing 2025 in the Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club of Parker. She presented our club and our past president Nate DeVine with a certificate of recognition for our donation work with Polio in the 2023-2024 rotary year.
In addition, Tamara provided an impactful speech regarding being a rotary member and the change in the lives of people we impact as well as ourselves. We shared some personal stories and insight into some of the projects that had meaning to us. Members also shared how these projects had meaning to them in transforming the lives of the community they are helping.
Tamara Fennell shared her passion for mobility and mental illness where she had personally been affected growing up. She now uses her experiences to advocate for the Rotary Endowment to provide additional resources for the Pediatric Mental Health Project through Anschutz Hospital in Aurora.
We also recognize club member Larry McLaughlin for his 40 YEARS in Rotary and Rotary International.
Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club of Parker is excited and ready for a great 2025!
